Laundry Mesh Bags Are Useful And Versatile

By Debra Cooley

Laundry mesh bags have a surprising number of uses, aside from the obvious use of holding dirty laundry. They are versatile, handy to have around the house, and come in a variety of colors and styles, and are easy to store when not needed. These bags are also quite strong while staying flexible and stretchy, and are also reasonably priced.

Children love to collect and play with stuffed animals. These toys take up a lot of space, and are hard to store where they are out of the way yet accessible to kids when they want them. Storing them in one of these mesh bags keeps these fluffy pets visible, yet out of the way and neat and tidy. The bag can be hung up, stored on a corner, or put in another out of the way location until it is needed again.

Storage of sleeping bags, air mattresses and other camping items is simple and easy with one of these sacs. For a camping trip, it is a lightweight and portable solution and ensures that nothing is forgotten. For sleepovers and slumber parties, items are handy and easily put away after so that they are ready for next time. Air flow through the bag helps keep things dry and mildew free.

Sporting equipment doesn't need to be smelly anymore. Using a mesh bag allows things to dry between uses, and prevents the build up of odors that can happen with more enclosed totes. Everything stays in one handy place, and the whole thing can be thrown into the vehicle when its time to go, without leaving necessary things behind.

Sorting pillows, blankets, pillowcases, duvet covers and other bed linens into a bag for each bedroom, and storing it in the closet is a great idea. No more looking for the right size of sheets, as they are all right there in the bedroom where they fit the bed. Items can even be stored by their type in smaller bags to simplify it further.

Keeping winter items organized, sorted and most importantly, dry, can be a challenge. Assigning a different colored bag to each family member, and having them keep theses things in it near the door can really save time and space. Gloves and mitts stay together. The open weave of the mesh allows lets air flow through and items will dry in no time, and be ready for the next time.

The smaller sized ones work good for swimming suits and towels when taking a trip to the beach or pool. Sand cannot collect in the bottom, as the open design lets it flow right through. Wet suits and towels can then be placed inside the bag for the trip home, and can be tossed into the washer and dryer, even while still inside the bag.

The versatility and usefulness of laundry mesh bags makes them a popular choice. The are not expensive, and because they vary in size, shape and color, there are many different ways to organize the home using them. Items kept inside stay dry and visible, and they are lightweight and portable.
